Wednesday Jan 15, 2020
Wednesday Jan 15, 2020
George and Wendy Duffy are very much the stereotypical suburban American parents. Married for 43 years, they’ve raised 4 kids, including Jordan and I, with George going to work each day and Wendy, an ex-teacher, managing the household. They are the traditional nuclear do-good family that statistics says is going existent. At the same time, they’re risk takers, adventurers, they’re silly and entrepreneurial. Like so many of us, how they look on paper is a fraction of who they really are. We decided to sit down with them and hear what they have to say about being Powerful, how having kids doesn't mean your life stops, which social and political topics matter to them, and as they’re about to retire, what they’re doing to shape the world into a better place.
