She shares with her audience to keep herself accountable all while going to school and working two jobs as a nurse. On this episode she shares why this time her commitment to health and fitness is sticking, how she stays true to her commitments while both living in the fried food south and expected at Haitian family dinners, PLUS the impact her audience has had on her journey.

Today she writes for Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair, and the Louis Vuitton City Guides. She started her career in 1995 at 18 as a rock journalist traveling the world over 200 days a year interviewing bands in a post-Nirvana world. She then went on to be the co-founder of Sport & Style and features director of Vogue Hommes International. Today in addition to her writing and journalism, every summer, she sails on the most beautiful classic yachts during the Corsica Classic, a vintage yacht regatta celebrating its 10th birthday in 2019, an event she co-organizes with her husband. On this episode we talk about the journey of her career, what she prioritizes in her busy life, and how she maintains the rock n’ roll approach to life no matter location, setting or age. Rachael Lee Sortor is a neonatal ICU flight nurse and has been a competitive rock climber since she was a teenager. She is focused, intentional, and committed to her family living their best lives. She’s also a mom & wife. At 8 months old, before she could walk, her daughter Ellie started to rock climb. One day Rachael posted a video to Facebook of Ellie climbing at the local rock gym to share with her family. Within 48 hours the video was internationally viral. Soon calls started coming in from the Conan O'Brian Show, for a world tour, and the Ellen Show. One post and their lives were changed forever.
